Join Brittney for an experimental glass workshop using all scrap glass.
Participants will learn techniques for incorporating rock and glass onto a small wood board. Craft your very own unique geode-esque glass “sculpture” in your color choices using beautiful pieces of art glass. Learn cutting, adhering glass and arranging pieces to create a stunning piece of sculptural art that resembles crystals found in nature.
Please note that this is not a speedy class! This technique can be tedious and will take time to develop. You may not finish your project in the time given for this workshop.
Participants will begin their project in the studio (3 hours). You will then have the opportunity to take your piece home or continue on your own, or via studio booking (hourly) with Verre Boise.
Included:
Instruction, studio space for working
Hooks for hanging piece
glass and tools
2x2 inch (or 2×3) piece of wood for project
Rocks not included - feel free to bring something from home.
